VBS is almost here. Veggie Tales-The Pirates Who Don’t do Anything are sailing into Pathways UMC.
Dates: Sunday, July 26th – Thurs. July 30th
From 6 to 8 pm each night
We will kick off the week with a Family Night Treasure Hunting Event. Then the kids will launch into a week of Bible learning that’s seriously fun. We’re welcoming kids from 3 years old to those who will be entering 5th grade in fall.
Join us in our Family Life Center air conditioned comfort. See you then, this is not to be missed.
Amber Karst is a familiar face to those who attend Consuming Fire worship experience on Sunday evenings. Amber is 23 years old and grew up in Joplin, MO. She graduated from Joplin High in 2010.
“A goal of mine is to make a positive impact on anyone I come in contact with.” Amber says. “I enjoy working with youth because not only am I doing my best to teach them, but they are always teaching me something.
Join Amber at Youth group now called “God’s Squad” every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 in the youth room in the basement. Our youth welcomes anyone from 6th to 12th grade. Their mission Statement is Love God, Love People.

During the children’s time in the 10:30 service the kids thru 5th grade will be able to hunt for eggs, do crafts and hear the Easter Story.
Maundy Thursday, April 2

Once more we gather around the table to remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples as we recall the deepening shadows of the night of his betrayal and mind-numbing darkness of his coming death.
Good Friday, April 3
Service Time 7:00 pm
A solemn service to remember Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins. Afterwards the sanctuary will remain dark until Easter morning.
Friday, March 27 at 5:00-You will want to be at Pathways UMC for the last chili supper of the season. Come by and enjoy a steaming bowl of Ray Coley inspired chili or a bowl of the delicious vegetable beef soup. If you can’t make it friday, call the office at 866-4378 to reserve your can or cans of either chili or soup to enjoy at home. This can be picked up at any time that the office is open. We freeze it to preserve freshness. See you Friday or else next September.
